Well Lets see where this year takes us......

Well we're off on my new project for 2018 I won't be posting photos everyday but I will be posting regularly. I'm going for quality not quantity so join me for the ride welcome to another year.
Here's a start for 2018 1st picture of the year.
No one knows where it is going to take them, so grab on with both hands and enjoy the ride.
The road is long with many a winding turn, but you can see the end in the distance.
In other words things are never as straightforward as you think they are, but if you stick at it hopefully you will get there in the end.
All the best for 2018

Picture 015 - LWR Project 2018 - A View of Dent.
Took this photos today while I was on my way home from Cumbria near to the beautiful village of Dent.  It was very bleak up on the fells and was raining a bit reminded me a bit of the movie American Werewolf of London a 1980's classic. Turned it black and white for atmosphere.

Picture 014 - LWR Project 2018 - Clouds Movement Pit Heap.
Took this photos yesterday on the pit heap at the grange.  I took a long exposure of 15 seconds to show the movement of the clouds. Turned it black and white and sepia toned it.

Picture 013 - LWR Project 2018 - Wet Rainy Road near Cockermouth.
Took this photos today 25.01.18 I have been over Cumbria today the weather set in pretty awful this afternoon love the reflections n the wet road and the bleakness of the bare trees really lends itself to black and white.

Took these photos today 18.01.18 the snow was really bad today I decided not to venture over to Barrow because of the weather. Took a quick ride around the grange to take a couple of photos about 10.30 when the weather and traffic eased off a bit. I love it round here and it's on our doorstep.

Picture 008- LWR Project 2018 - Seagulls Swooping
Took this at Seaton when I gave the birds what was left of my fish and chips, the little birds always get a bit because I put them near the car and the gulls just hover about until they dive bomb to get a bit. Turned this black and white because it was very grey day for some more contrast.

Picture 007- LWR Project 2018 - Winter Sheep Cumbria.
Love this winter scene on the fells near Penrith with the lake district in the distance ....

Picture 006- LWR Project 2018 - Honister Pass Cumbria.
Took this on a lovely sunny day over Cumbria, not today which has been pretty  drab and foggy most of the day.  I love the way the road disappears into the distance. Definitely a long and winding road ....

Picture 005- LWR Project 2018 - Steetley Pier Hartlepool Winter Time.
I love this in black and white, somethings just look better especially old wooden structures or engineering projects. These nearly always look totally different when you strip away the colour.
What do you think?

Picture 004- LWR Project 2018 - Winding Road along Wast Water Cumbria.
Lovely view of the mountains and a stormy sky, you could lose yourself here.
So peaceful here especially in the winter months very few people even come this time of the year.

Picture 003- LWR Project 2018 - Cumbria Seasonal Waterfall
Taken January 3rd 2018 Near to Wythburn Church Cumbria
I have been passed here many times and sometimes it's just a trickle, with hardly any flow.
